Forgotten how much I adore those guys. Their gig in the Phoenix Park is in my top 3 of all time, one of those outer-body experience type gigs. If they’re playing Oxegen I may just go to hear them alone. A W E S O M E.
Saw them on Friday in Spain. It was deadly!
Their 3rd album was more filler than killer but they have more than enough songs in their book to make for a great show. Kele’s voice never holds up as well onstage as it does on record; they really do benefit from studio production – but when you’re faced with anthem after anthem you really can’t argue!
I’d either pick ‘This Modern Love’ or the Daily Mail – bashing ‘Hunting For Witches’ as a favourite, though pretty much anything off of Silent Alarm still sounds the business.
