Go see The Importance of Being Earnest

I was lucky enough to get to see a fantastic opening performance of Rough Magic‘s latest production The Importance of Being Earnest last week and had a brilliant night.

My first time seeing the play it was fabulously sharp and witty (thank you Mr.Wilde) and delivered brilliantly by the Rough Magic players this time around with special guest, Stockard Channing in the role of Lady Bracknell.

The costumes are to die for and the set change is one of the more interesting ones I have seen since Whore Works at The Project Arts Centre a few weeks ago.

It’s a really enjoyable evening out, particularly for someone who wouldn’t normally think of going to the theatre. So bring your dad, your granny or your all of them out for an evening this week before the run ends at The Gaeity this coming Saturday June 19th. Fun and laughter guaranteed from start to finish!
